The Reflection

  1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?
The project does something different by showing that regular, everyday stuff can be important and worth paying attention to. It goes against the idea that only big, special things should be seen as art. Instead, it says that everyone, no matter where they're from, goes through similar things. It also gets people talking. It makes viewers think about why friendships matter, the good things in simple moments, and how everyone shares similar feelings. It starts a bigger conversation about including everyone and being part of the human experience together.

How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?
The product engages with the viewer through relatability. It showcases experiences like talking, walking, connecting, and laughing – the building blocks of our daily lives. The first-person perspective offers a glimpse into a world that craves these simple yet essential elements, portraying a friendship shared by two individuals, much like countless others. The video serves as an influence, encouraging those who watch it to step out and explore what the world has to offer. It suggests that life isn't just black and white, and with the vibrant colors of chaos, one can paint a world with a friend, striving to become better individuals. While not everything is explicitly shown in the video, the underlying message is about the growth of a friendship, akin to the illumination of a world full of possibilities.

How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
Well my skills sure have improved for the next time. but overall my production skills arent good still but i did start from ground zero. I went from someone who can barly take a good photo to editing a music video and cutting ambient sound. so over all the improve is great. hopfully in the near furture when i am give another task to work on. i will produce a piece of work far better than the one yall saw last time. so when i answer this question's again i can give you turly things ti clap and cheer about. to become something that collage with love. thats the goal for the end of this year. so next time. Pray for a better answer too this questions'. because my improvement form now till than will be great

How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

Capcut. That's my only answer, and it's great. So simple, so easy. It's probably the simplest thing I have ever done in my whole life. If they gave me something more complicated, I think I would have cried. The only thing that was giving me a problem was the sound, but after all was done, it was smooth moving. I didn't use everything, but the view itself was taking in the point of view (POV) of the two nameless friends living their lives. So, the 'hardware' was the phones that were being used in the whole video. But next time, I think my group might take a different route.
